Founder and Executive Director Laure Clemons represented Extended Family at Centre Lions Club recently at their annual Awards Recognition Luncheon to accept a Community Partnership Award. This award, according to the Centre Lions Club proclamation, recognizes Extended Family’s “outstanding commitment and vital role in fostering successful collaboration among community partners, organizations, businesses, and institutions to achieve shared goals and address important issues within our community.”
We are so grateful to have been honored by our local Lions Club. We value our community partnerships and the cooperation we have in serving the citizens of Cherokee County. Our collective work strengthens individuals, which helps strengthen families, which in turn creates stronger communities.
Our community partnerships with groups like Centre Lions Club help us support our mission, “To offer help and inspire hope,” for those we serve.
